Welcome once again to my ongoing series of tips for those of you who are trying to make money online with a home business. Today we'll look at 10 ideas for increasing the order rates for your products:
1. Set up a reward program for repeat customers, and for referrals. This will keep people revisiting your home business website and buying your products. Sample rewards could be small gifts, discounts, discounts on future purchase, etc. Be creative.
2. You can increase traffic to your website by publishing ezines for other home business websites. You could do it at no charge and in return just ask for a sponsor ad in each issue.
3. Another way to increase traffic: trade endorsement ads with other ezines. These types of ads give your message instant credibility and will pull more hits and sales than simple classified ads.
4. Test your ad copy before you start taking orders. Tell your visitors to email you if they want to be notified when you launch a new product.
5. Get your visitors excited about your product by letting them know how excited you are about it. Tell them why you're excited and use exclamation points.
6. Use incentives to get referrals if you don't have an affiliate program. Tell people when they refer customers you will reward them with free products.
7. Tell your visitors the reason why you're having a sale so they don't think your products are cheap. It could be a holiday or seasonal sale or a clearance sale.
8. Do not overload your home business website with high tech gadgets such as fancy flash, videos that play immediately, etc.. They can create a slow loading web page and distract people away from your offer.
9. Eliminate words, phrases, and paragraphs in your ad copy that aren't selling or supporting your product. This will stop people from getting bored with your ad.
10. Keep people at your home business website as long as possible. Allow them to download free ebooks, sign-up for contests, use free online services, etc.
