1. Consider multiplying your marketing and advertising efforts on the Internet. How? Start an affiliate program or use viral marketing for products that you sell in your work from home business.
2. Increase the ratio of visitors that purchase your product(s). Make changes to headlines, offer a stronger guarantee, add testimonials, and so on. Be sure to track everything you do, and once you find something that shows an improvement in sales ratio, work on improving that.
3. Offer a free and informative ezine. This will uncover the strongest potential customers for your work from home business. The visitors that are very interested will subscribe to it.
4. Team up with your competition by starting an association for your specific industry. It could lead to a profitable partnership with them.
5. Search for your name and the name of your work from home business in newsgroups, discussion boards and forums. Some of the comments you find could help you improve your business.
6. Attract people to link to your work from home business web site. You could offer them a discount on the products you sell or give them free stuff for linking.
7. Develop your own opt in email list by giving your visitors a reason to give you their email address. Allow them sign up for free stuff or contests.
8. Create a "PR" web page for your business. On this page, place information items that could be considered newsworthy for ezines, newspapers, magazines, etc. Submit these items to online Press Release services as well.
9. Make sure your home business website links to websites that have written positive stories about your business. This will give both you and your business credibility.
As you can see, its all about getting your message out there in a positive manner without hype. Implement some of these strategies and over time you will see an increase in sales for your work from home business.
